Images that help a space lease or sell
A leasing photo has one job: let someone understand the space without visiting. That means wide, level frames, accurate colour and light that shows the depth of the room. I add a small number of detail and mood frames for brochures and launches.
Recent sales centres and retail interiors
The portfolio includes the Junting Yundi Sales Pavilion in Kunming — exterior, dusk and lobby — and two UUUUP concept stores in Yunnan, shot for the brand's opening.
Frequently asked questions
How much does office or retail photography cost in Vancouver?
Starting prices are published: a half day from CA$900 (up to 12 retouched images) and a full day from CA$1,600 (up to 20 images, twilight included). Typical all-in totals are CA$1,800–3,500 for a single client and CA$3,000–5,000 for hospitality or multi-firm projects. The full breakdown is in the cost guide at traviszhang.com/guides/architectural-photography-cost-vancouver.
Can a landlord and a fit-out firm share the cost?
Yes. Each additional firm licenses the same set for 30% of the creative fee, and the total is split between all parties.
Do you shoot empty or furnished spaces?
Both. Empty units are shot to show volume, light and layout; fitted-out spaces are shot to show how they work.
Do you shoot before opening hours?
Yes. Retail and office shoots are usually scheduled before opening or after closing so staff and customers are not in the way.
Which areas do you cover?
Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, Surrey and the rest of Metro Vancouver, plus BC by arrangement.
